This is a group for adults with Attention Deficit Disorder. Significant others are welcome to discuss from their point of view as well - with love and respect (on both sides) we can work together as a team.

A couple of things
- this is an adult group, so we will be discussing adult issues. If you're easily offended, this may not be a good group for you. But we can't get *TOO* adult, or yahoogroups will stick us in the *really* adult section.

- this is not a group for children's issues - there are too many groups out there for that, to make this one of them.

- meds...we'll be discussing meds, but please stop short of "you should try..." There are too many folks that treat that as gospel, and that gets us onto shaky ground. There are other reasons, but that's good enough for now. We need to include diagnoses in this as well, let's leave diagnosing to the professionals.

- New members, you must enter your reason for joining this group in the "comment" section of the application page. If your yahoo ID is something like "wanna_luv_ewe" and your reason for joining is "I wanna get to know you," or "hiiiiiii!", your membership will be denied. If you ignore the comment section, or if you write something that has nothing to do with ADD/ADHD, your membership will be denied. If you indicate that you are under the mistaken impression that this is an "adult - rated X" group, your memberhsip will be denied. You all get my drift.

- Being humans (with ADD), there will be disagreements and sometimes outright disputes. All members should be able to post freely without risk of being attacked. If a member perceives an attack, they are free to contact a moderator. Issues WILL BE RESOLVED - experience tells us that if they are not, they continue.
