Hi everyone,
I have just joined the list and wanted to introduce myself.
I'm 26, student of psychology at the Free University Berlin and
Cornell University and have been working on AD/HD (both child and
adult) in Germany for a while. After having come to the US as an
exchange student I was suprised how differently ADD looked over here,
and decided to write my thesis on adult-AD/HD in the US and Germany.
For this I am looking for adults who have been diagnosed
with ADD/think they have ADD and would be willing to participate in an
interview (no boring questionnaire but an open interview). I'm located
in New York City so you should be near by.
All data will, of course, be kept strictly confidential and only used
for my thesis. The study has been approved by the Cornell
Institutional Review Board and please feel free to contact me if you
have any further questions. If you cannot participate yourself but
know someone in or around NYC who might be interested, feel free to
share this mail.
Oh, now the sad part: my funding does not allow me to compensate for
your participation, except with my deep and honest gratitude.
Thank you very much for your cooperation,
Harald.
