Ritalin and citrus juices   Message List

Ritalin and Concerta and any other preparations with Ritalin in them are NOT
supposed to be used with citrus juices, especially grapefruit. I have read
this in several places. Unfortunatly I don't remember where. There are
probably other food/drug combinations bad for medicated ADHD people. One
thing I am sure of is this. Talking to 'experts' and doctors and the like is
a great thing but remember, They Are People Too! You may get some great
advice from them only to find out down the line it is not correct or maybe
it is correct for some people but not for you. I know more in some areas
about ADHD than some of the doctors I have seen. That does not make me an
expert.
It also doesn't mean the doctor is not a great resource.

If anybody knows of any listings about what not to eat with Ritalin or
Adderal please let me know.
It really is a big deal.
