hi my name is christine and i am mom to robert, 11 yrs old with adhd.
i have been doing all i can to help my son, but there is so much
stress in my home that it's affecting him. i talked to the school
social worker today and found out my son has been contemplating
either hurting himself or committing suicide. i can't get any help or
support from the school, and they treat me in a condesending manner.i
am at my wits end with everything but i have no one to talk to.
sometimes i have thoughts of just walking away from the whole thing.i
love my family and i love my children but i'm not sure how much more
i will be able to take. i have no support system, no one to talk to.
i'm in the chicago area. any new friends and suggestions will be very
very helpful
