Hi. I am the mother of a 12 yr old boy who has ADHD. My son has
recently become adamant that he can function without his medication
and that it makes him slugglish. (He takes Adderall XR.) I often
wonder if putting him on medication 6 years ago was the right thing
to
do. He has limited improvement on Adderall XR (and we have tried
several different kinds of medications). It has been so long since
my
son has been totally off medication I'm not even sure it truly is
effective. What I was wondering is does anyone know of a group(s) or
site(s) that can help me weigh the pros and cons of taking him off
the
medication?
