Hi all,
I'm new.
I was diagnosed late in life, just a few years ago. I always wondered
why I was so forgetful. I've tried Adderall XR and had success with
it. My wife can really tell a difference.
But I do have trouble getting my prescription refilled because they
won't call it in to the pharmacy (cause it's a narcotic, I guess).
And I forget to go over and pick it up! Fortunately, I can muddle thru
life without it, though I do better with it.
The computer age has really helped me. My PDA especially helps by
going off when I have programmed it to, reminding me of an appointment
that I was aobout to forget.
I also am a Christian, and know that it's tough being an adult with
ADD because society hasn't quite realized what it is yet (especially
regarding adults).
Yahoo didn't have any groups, that I could find, that dealt with
Christian Adults who have ADD. Most groups I found focused on
children. Well, adults have their own set of issues in dealing with
ADD, so I started my own group. I don't want to take away at all from
great forums like this group. But if some would benefit from a more
focused discussion about Christian Adults who have ADD, then perhaps
they might want to join my group, too. The more support, the better!
We've existed for about a year, but membership has always been low...
we never advertised at all. So now I'm checking out other larger
groups to promote our little group.
If this is a moderated group, Mr. Moderator, please don't post this if
it is inappropriate. Thank you.
Oh, and here's the group address...
