Hi, New to this group. I have a 7 year old son. He is in second
grade. Last year and this year a recurring theme arises with
progress reports. He has trouble staying on task. Has trouble
staying focused. Has to be reminded constantly to stay on task. We
have the same issues at home. 15 minutes of required reading each
night turns into a one hour battle sometimes and homework can be an
even bigger struggle. He has had the workup through the school
system and we went for our meeting with the psychologist, special
needs teacher, etc and they feel he had ADD, although they can not
diagnose this only an MD can. So we have an appointment with his
pediatrician on Tues of this coming week. Is there any specific
questions I should ask the Ped? Any insight is welcomed.
