Vickie- my name is mary- and i know how you feel. one thing a friend with an
ADHD child told me, is that if and when they start meds, if he isn't ADHD, the
medicine will act like speed, if he truly is ADHD, it will calm him down.I had a
hard time understanding all the chemistry, but i can sympathize with you, cause
I think giving him those meds for the first time was one of the hardest things
I've ever done. But once you see that it can help him, it all becomes clear.
It's hard to understand this problem, and how their brain functions, or
dis-functions, as it were.Just pray for strength,it helps, and write back if you

to get help. She has not been dignosed with ADHD yet but, i am
pretty sure that is the problem. I am in the process of finding out
for sure. But, the way she acts and what i have been told that
sounds like ADHD. Just wanted to be able to get other peoples stories
and input. I just feel that having other people to talk to with the
same experiences will help.
