Hi, I'm am new to this groug and I just need some support from other
parents dealing with ADD children. I have 4 children, 15, 12, 11,
7. The 12 year old boy has ADD and the 7 year old boy has ADHD.
Some days I don't think I'm going to make it. Between puberty,
homework and low self esteem I'm not sure what to expect each day.
Just reading some items from other parents helps alot. I'm looking
forward to chatting with others. Some days I feel like the worst
parent in the whole world not understanding what to do for these
boys. I think I have ADD but I have never been diagnosed. After
going through the testing with my oldest son of 12, I have to wonder
about myself. But as an adult, I think I've learned how to deal
with it, I just wish I could teach my boys to. Any suggestions for
normal everyday living would be greatly appreciated. Thank you to
all. I know we'll make it through these tough times and hopefully
have hair on our heads when we're done.
