#1  murphy's irish stout does not have legitimate hechsher - \
note: stores which do not have a rabbanut mashgiah for the store (even
if they have a hechsher for the fruit and veg dept) might not know to
take it off the shelves.
#2.  avazim restaurant in afula is now owned by non-jews and no longer
under hshgaha
#3.  Glatt grill at BILU lost its hechsher from rabbanut ekron

regarding impprted foods that have a hechsher in "the old country" but
the rabbanut says they are not ok, this can be because of difference
of psak,
most notably on the  issue of Hadash.  (this might happen with cereals
in a couple of months)
Or, it could be that a different factory is producing the stuff for
export, with no hashgaha at that plant
Or, it could be a bishul yisrael issue (such as certain brands of pink
salmon which are off the shelves now from kim'at hinam, even though
the OU says they are okay)

well, actually, i have two types of groups i am curious about
1.  for parents of particularly uncooperative children
2.  for men who discover that their wives are more difficult than they
expected (depressed / not balabustas / unkind)

according to a friend who works for the city psycholoigy dept said that
- a child who is being  refered to a veadat hasama is entitled by law to a
free eval through the city psychology services
- other children can have an eval through the city's services through a
program called Shafam - private services.  the cost is 1500 sheq
in either case, you call the city's educational psychology dept

My father just sent me this email based on news reports - we thought it
would be a good idea to pass it on to anyone who may have one of the
Maclaren Strollers mentioned below...

*Maclaren *is calling for a *recall *of it’s strollers due to a safety issue
with the hinges. There are about 1 Million *stroller *that need to be
recalled.

The British stroller maker, Maclaren has received 12 reports where
children’s fingertips have been amputated by the hinges on the strollers.
Maclaren is voluntarily recalling all of their umbrella strollers and are
making a repair kit available.

The Maclaren stroller recall are for strollers sold in the US from 1999
through 2009. Models included in the recall are: Volo, Triumph, Quest Sport,
Quest Mod, Techno XT, Techno XLR, Twin Triumph, Twin Techno and Easy
Traveller.

Maclaren has recommended that the stroller owners should stop using the
stroller until the hinge problem is fixed.
