Kupat cholim meuchedet has an excellent mental health service in Jerusalem.
Dr. Daniel Mayer is one of the doctor's on their list. Although
appointments with the mental health clinic are harder to get than
appointments with a private therapist, the quality of care is just as good.
The doctors at the clinic work as a team. Psychologists and psychiatrists
are in touch with each other, so there is continuity of care. The cost is
significantly lower than private.
A family dr. or pediatrician would be able to inform the parent whether or
not his child is eligible for this service.
Behatzlachah,
Rachel
