Hellow listers with teens who are socially isolated,
Kvutzat Reim is about to open a new group for teens in Jerusalem.
(Reim runs social groups at Matnasim throughout the country for kids
who don't have friends and need a framework for social interactions
and some help with their social skills. You can read about them in a
recent article from YNET at http://www.ynet.co.il/articles/0,7340,L-
3347958,00.html)
The planned group is for 14-18 year old, girls and boys, and will be
meeting at the ICCY on Emek Rephaim one evening a week
(probably Tuesdays). This particular group is being run by a
psychologist, though that is not a requirement for the job. They are
interviewing kids this week and planning to start very soon.
In case it's relevant, I asked, and there's nothing about the planned
activities that would preclude religious kids from participating in
them (assuming that their coed nature isn't a problem).
If this is something that might be of interest to you, please contact
me ASAP (string together the following address: shira b3 @

program.
Shabbat shalom/ shavua tov,
