In one of my children's classes, the parents have organized themselves
into a Yahoo Group for the purpose of sharing information about
homework, projects, due dates, supplies that need to be purchased, etc.
For those of us who can't rely on our children to come home with all
this information accurately, it is invaluable to be able to pool our
collective information in order to hopefully get the complete picture.

Ideally, one day, it would be nice if the teacher or the school
secretery plugged this info into the internet herself. But given the
fact that we don't have those resources, the least we can do is pool our
information together to help our children stay on top of their
schoolwork.
