The mission of A Brave New Day is to provide education and services which promote optimum wellness, and to advocate for and empower people faced with life-challenging illnesses and conditions.

The vision of A Brave New Day is to see an end of HIV transmission; to see an end of the progression of HIV to AIDS; and to see all persons with HIV live long, healthy lives, particularly in the American Deep South.

For the first time in Mississippi, HIV+ persons across the state are organizing for the purpose of helping other HIV+ people access care, receive peer counseling and one-to-one buddy system support.

A Brave New Daily is a list serve for self-enlisted community members to update the HIV community on treatment, self-management, prevention, events, activities, and forums.
