A support group for those affected by Amniotic Banding Syndrome, Syndactyly, and related conditions such as clubbed feet. This includes anyone who has a similar problem under a different name. In recent years, what was once diagnosed generally as ABS or Syndactyly is being called by other more specific names -- you are all welcome here.

This group is open to all those with the condition and those who have children (of any age) affected by this condition.

This group is an open discussion format to engage in conversations and support around ABS and related conditions. All we ask is that you treat one another with respect while discussing topics that might be quite sensitive and new for people. While the messages will not be screened for political correctness, please be respectful of those with different attitudes or experiences.

Please note that some parents allow their older grade school children to participate in this group so please keep everything appropriate for all age groups. If you need to have a conversation about topics not appropriate for children, please do so by private e-mail.

Please Note that this group is not for spamming or promoting your product (the exception to this rule are items especially adaptive for those with ABS and related conditions). Experiences with a product or service useful to those with ABS will be welcomed but advertisement or spamming is not. Spammers will be banned immediately.
In order to reduce spamming, the first post (or reply) of a new member will be moderated. After an initial post, members should be aware that group is currently un-moderated in the sense that posts are made without review or editing by the moderator of the group.
