Description

ABI News 2-U’s aim is to inform, educate, and enlighten others about TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) or ABI (Acquired Brain Injury) and other subjects that we may want to tell others about. Archived newsletters will have survivors' stories, articles and links to provide other benefits for survivors and care givers.

This group is mostly comprised of TBI/ABI survivors, caregivers, family and friends. Many suffered life-threatening brain injuries and lived to tell about it. But much of what is discussed is applicable to coping with any type of BI (Brain Injury). Many members also have the desire to help others in the same predicament as themselves.

ABI News 2-U is a forum about head injury issues ... it is not about our views on the environment or politics - unless they impact the brain injury community. Nor is it a forum for jokes. The only issues relevant to these dialogues are about brain injury.
We are nonprofit, and nondenominational.

Try to be aware and considerate of others feelings. TBIers can be unintentionally rude, have emotional outbursts and act childish. Give the person a chance to explain and calm down. We are not here to judge but to understand and help.

Break it into smaller parts.
If an article seems too long, just read one or two sections a day.
