Alexander's article, one of the photos is
of a staged meeting (its caption ends with
"... A typical clubhouse discussion group").
Prominently displayed on the wall above a
fireplace mantle behind the attendees facing
forward (i.e. Ruth Hock, Bill W, Dick S and
Lois W) is a rather large sign (possibly
needlepoint embroidery) that reads "But for
the Grace of God."
