This is a closed meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous. "Closed" means that people wanting to join MUST answer the question of why they want to join, thereby affirming the 3rd tradition desire to get sober, or their request to join will be declined. We must do this in order to avoid spammers and non-alcoholic malcontents who hide their email addresses and aren't coming here in search of an AA meeting at all.

The format of the meeting is completely open; you pick the topic. Any topic that would be discussed during a meeting, after a meeting or on the telephone between members is appropriate for this forum. The only thing we ask is that members avoid "flaming" or otherwise trying to control or convert each other.

So come on in, grab a cup of java, pull up a chair. I'm very glad to see you.
