American Muslim Health Professionals (AMHP)

Vision: To be a leader in improving public health, through efforts inspired by Islamic tradition.

Mission: AMHP is dedicated to empowering Muslim health professionals to improve the quality and delivery of health services and increase access to care.

The purpose of AMHP's listserv is:

1. To provide an open forum for Muslim health professionals across United States and Canada to discuss issues pertaining to their respective fields.

2. Serve as a networking tool for those individuals seeking employment in the healthcare sector.

3. Share relevant articles, research papers, and journal publications.

4. Offer mentoring services (on graduate programs, internships, fellowships, career ladder, etc) to undergraduate, graduate students, and early careerists.

5. Post relevant information on events, conferences, and seminars.
