I always wondered why I was sick all of the time. When I discovered that it was related to allergies and asthma, I then wondered how I could control them instead of them controlling me.
I have even gotten fired from a job for being asthmatic because I was sick all of the time and wondered if the environment had anything to do with it. I discovered in my searching that in fact it did. Everything from multi-chemical-sensitivites to Red Dye 40 to dust, mold, pollen, animal dander, heartburn, and a multitude of other variables can lead to an asthma attack or allergy symptoms.
By creating this list, I hope to accomplish several things. First, I want to give folks a place where we can discuss triggers and avoidance. Also, I need to learn more about how allergies and asthma affect other people, and the unusual triggers that other people have experienced.
