This is a group to provide support and information while discussing the disorder vaginisumus; the involuntary contractions of the vaginal muscles, which makes insertion, gynecological examinations, and intercourse painful or impossible.

This seems to be a condition of which very few people are aware, however, an increasing number of women are being diagnosed with vaginismus and are looking for help. Fortunately and unfortunately, vaginismus suffers are not alone. The positive side is that with support a woman can learn to manage her disorder, and hopefully overcome it.

This list is open to women who have had or still have vaginismus, their partners, and members of the medical and psychological community who have information to offer or just want to learn more.

If an email is not sent outlining your background and interests, your membership application will be denied.
