I would say the biggest concern we have is the final heart surgery,
the Fontan, but the biggest challenge we have with Faith is the
eating. She is 2 1/2 years old and been on the tube feeds since
birth. We feel like we have tried everything. We are currently
seeing a Behavior Theropist and having luck with other issues but the
feeding she is not giving an inch on. She puts everything in her
mouth but food. I can even get her to play with a spoon, put it in
her mouth, chew on it but if I take it and just dip it in some baby
food, pudding, yogert, etc. she won't even pick it back up. After
seeing the other kids at the conference and talking with the parents
we were aware of the problems these children face with eating but
WOW!
