I choose to not put Cody on any meds.. I have noticed the older Cody
gets the better his attention gets. Last year we could not get Cody to
sit in a chair at school, this year he is now staying his chair for
activities such as circle time. There are days when he has a tough
time but for the most part the past year has shown great progress! My
thoughts to meds are if there is a natural way such as diet or
something time will fix, I will pass on the meds in a heart beat. My
older son who is not 11q was very hyper...he bounced off walls and I
wanted to pull my heart out, I found by changing his diet it calmed
him down a great deal. I am not sure if you are aware of this but
anything red such as strawberries, cherries has a natural sugar that
tends to make people hyper. I researched the internet for a good diet
and was impressed with the results! Just my 2 cents :)
