Our son just turned 16 and had the same problem. If you haven't already done so you might want to try Secret Clinical Strength deodorant. We put it on Jamie once a day after he takes a bath and it works great. Be sure to hide it though as the back of the bottle has a strong warning against swallowing it.

Lisa,
I can not speak for girls but you have asked a good question regarding
puberty... Cody is only 10 but for the past year he has had the worst BO
under his arms. What I am amazed about is he has no body hair but yet he
stinks. I think as in "normal" kids puberty hits our JS kids at different
times. I have invested in ALLOT of anti-perspirant and I have to keep it
hide because Cody will try to eat it other wise. That is another thing... he
wont eat food but things that are very harmful he will eat. Go Figure!
As for girls... the old saying goes once they start to bud (you know in the
breast area) 1 year from then, they will start the forever sin of womanhood.
I am not sure what type of school Lilly is in but, I know at the school I
work (which is nothing but ESE kids) we assist our girls if needed in
changing and cleaning them selves. Typically this can be set as a goal that
will teach them how to do this themselves. I have 3 girls in my classroom
this year and all 3 have been put on the depo shot. Thank God for small
blessings :) You may want to talk to your peds doc about this. Good luck :)
