Why should we have to be untruthful about when last
various "tests" were though? I mean, we are the ones
paying their salaries.
It's rather strange...some days I feel so "brave" and
think I could go in and stand up to the doctor and say
exactly what's on my mind and stand my ground. Other
days, I feel just frightened and think I could not
even go at all.
Fortunately, I am generally of "good health"--always
have been--but I know there are "yearly exams" that
people are sort of coaxed into believing they "HAVE"
to have! I am way guilty of skipping those.
Sue, I have on one occasion gone into the ER with an
ankle injury just to find I was faced with lots of
questions about "when was your last period" (For an
ANKLE injury!). Apparently, they did not want to
X-Ray me if there were any chances I may be pregnant.
So the Rad-Technician asked me "is there any chance
you are pregnant?" and when I answered with "no" she
asked me again "Are you sure?" HA! I told her of
*COURSE* I was sure. I was not even sexually active.
egads....
