RJS,
My fear is all paralysing.....I do not overcome it. I go ONLY when I
have to and you probably can count on one hand how many times I've
been to the doctor in the last ten years. It's usually preceded by
several days of tears and anxiety...then extreme anxiety on "the day"
to the point I almost don't see how I'm making it through the day.
After the visit to the doctor, I tend to feel a sense of humiliation
and defeat...and sometimes I get very quiet and withdrawn for a few
days. It's a good thing I don't have to go very often I guess.
This is the first time I ever posted to this group. I'm fairly new
here and I just am getting through some of the posts.
