Having problems with message search?
HELLO!
My real name is actually Kevin.(not mary). I'm a 46 yr old daddy of two young sons, ages 9 and 11.
I'm (or was)...lol) a professional //steadily working musician songwriter/ bass player, but began having some weird tremors in my right arm every so often, that lasted apx 1-2 mintes and would then dissapear as fast as they came, and only stayed right there in my right arm, & down to my hand. Never hurt, just shook. It would shake and then just stop. But then I would feel pretty weak on my right arm and leg for a while (weird).
I was also a smoker and found it hard to quit coughing, but did so in june because I thought I had pneumonia or somthing similar. But the coughing never left, and they were petty strong coughing spells. (havent smoked in a year now!!! YAYYY!...LOL)
Well, one night, on my way out the door to a performance I was scheduled to perform at, and I had another one of theose tremors. This one, as the others, was only in my right arm and lasted for about 4 minutes this time, and right after it stopped, my control of the arm didnt return as quickly as usual. I thought to myself, ("this is it, I'm having a stroke. All the others must have been mini strokes or something") so for the first time in over 25 years, I had to cancel a show, and get to a hospital, of which as you know, is a bigger fear than anything they could tell me about myself. Well, at least I thought so..
Not to scare you, but to try help try save your life as everyone did here when i first joined, I was found to have lung and brain cancer (iireversable), and other the the coughing, I never had any other problems. (brain)
PLEASE get to a dr.!!!!
It changed my life, and because of my fear, and because I didnt go sooner, the outcome probably would have been better for me..
Dont ever take my words as it "could happen to you", but something I always pushed off to the side, was goin to the dr's or hospital, and now i'm in a situation that you certainly dont want to be in.
He's a great DR. WE always have a laugh or two together, and its not scary to me anymore!
Please, do what you gotta do. I'm not sure what your situation really is, but HEY!.......take a friend with you, or family member who makes you feel safe and comfortable, and go. Get it over with, and get back to me. I'm telling you to do the same thing that someone told me to do and its working out good. It would have worked out alot better had I not waited, but I'm STILL here, and so will you be!

I think so. No, there’s not a lot of traffic in this group, but sometimes some members speak up. Not that it’s necessary, but you may want to post with more detail and maybe someone can relate and share their experience with a similar concern.
