That is the all time longest I've eve hear of not going to
a docotr. Have you ever been to sick to fix yourself with
over the counter meds? Maybe you are just "very" healthy. I
have needed antibiotics in the past, and other doctors have
not believed it. So I have come to rely on myself, rather
than bug the guy woho was my doctor when I was a kid. I know
a teenager who has never been to a doctor or a dentist. She
could run for Miss California. She is a soccer player, also
and will be 18 soon.
I waited until my kids were "older" (around 4 1/2) to give
them all their "required" shots... that is "taboo", too. I
just don't think little tiny things should be stabbed
unnecessarily with "toxins". Let them at least develop a
coughing reflex, learn to talk, so they can tell you if
their neck hurts, etc., talk, etc.
