I've been doing Kegel exercises for over 30 years. I'm beyond that because
they don't help anymore. I've had the bladder sling surgery and the problems
I'm having right now are probably due to the post-op infection I had after
the surgery. My problem isn't a weak pelvic floor. It's urge incontinence,
not stress incontinence. And it's a given that I have nerve damage. Again,
Kegels do nothing for that. But I still do them to keep the muscle tone and
because they're a habit now anyway.
