Hello ;i am a new member to your group and I thought i would share my story with
each of you.To begin with I no longer drink alcohol and the reason is because I
was preive to some insight from a commercial I saw twenty years ago in L.A.on
how the Schick boosted that if you could smoke a cigarette in front of them in
five days after their treatment they would refund all your money.I didn't have
any money but blessed with a keen eye for detail,I noticed that the actor in the
commercial had wires connected to his finger tips as he smoked.Well I figuered
they were useing some special kind of electricity on him or it was being
delivered to certain special points on his fingers that caused the"treatment"to
work.I went on with my life smoking and tring hipnosis an ALL manner of tricks
to quit because i was a martial artist and i despritely wanted to get back in
shape and smoking was an impediment to this end.Then i ran into a Kagan and
Halveman psy.1 college text where i read about a baby that was moribundo, do to
not being able to keep down food.Thus challenged with a life or death codundrum
they oppted to Faradize the child (also called Faradic aversion therapy).As I
read about them running a low level electroversion threw the baby I realized
that THATS HOW they did it,they faradize the smoker AS HE SMOKES! Now I had
grown up on a boarder town and spent my summers in Mexico where people trapis
the malls and fiestas sporting a "caja de toques"or shock box.You call it a Tens
Unit here.Anywho,I had grown up with electricity as an acceptable way of proving
your manhood and it was nothing for me to try it with an eye toward finaly
putting up the cigarettes and getting back in shape.I couldn't find a shock box
then and could not find someone to make me one untill i ran into a hardware
store and there i saw a dimmer switch and proceeded to improvise one.three days
later I was off the cigarettes.Then the beer.and later i also used it to stop
