I'm due to have surgery to have high points of bone (I think they
were called burrs) in my gums filed down in order to make wearing
dentures more comfortable. Has anyone had this done before? Can you
offer any advice? I'm surprised that they're going to put me
completely under (in the oral surgeon's office). Is this standard
practice?
