thank you for the the replys, i did have a root canal done on the
tooth next to it, which was never painful, but apparently had a
hole in it the the xray showed it needed a root canal. I even
thought maybe they reversed the xrays. I thought that maybe the
tooth they said needed the root canal, maybe was causing the
the other one to hurt, but it didn't make any difference. I alway
figured that the roots were exposed and that it why it is hurting, I
even got a rx for chrohexdrine rinse. but stopped that when it
killed my taste buds. has anyone else experienced that. the
bottle said it could affect the whay food taste and usually would
go away, but could become permanent. I figure its not worth the
risk, i like tasting my food. thank you all again for your kind replys
