Maybe go to an old timer who may have had more exposure to more dental
situations???
Just a thought.

Subject: [000-Fear-Of-Dentists] Infection after Teeth Extraction
Hello All....
I recently had 4 teeth pulled for braces. After pulling, one area
got really irritated. Went back to the dentist and he gave me
penicillin.
2 weeks later, I noticed the same side of the gums was bleeding.
Then saw a cyst with white stuff on that side of the gums right
under the extraction. The socket where the tooth was like bubbled
up! Saw the dentist again and he didn't know why this was.. took
some xrays and said it looked like it was healing right and gave me
more Penicillin! Said if that didn't work he would go under the
scar tissue and have to take out whatever is not healing.
It's been 3 days of Penicillin and I still see NO improvement. I'm
tired of taking this stuff and I don't want to go back to this
dentist :(.
I tried to make an appt. with an oral surgeon but the receptionist
told me to call a periodontist which makes no sense! So should I
see another dentist?
I'm tired of this... scared and worried. :(
