You are on the right track to get your metal out. I know 3 little boys,
2 which are teenagers who have a mouthful of metal. They salivate
profusely, spit when they talk, and are eternally congested. I mean,
they have not one or 2 cavities, but a mouth loud of silver/amalghm. And
do not be fooled by the word 'silver'. All silver fillings are made of
50% mercury. Your dentist will say it is silver because he is not
informed. But by law ( in some states now) must disclose this
information. The California Dental Association was taken to trial and
was completely abolished because of the misinformation they were giving
and hiding. They have a new dental board in California now which states
they must not use mercury fillings on pregnant women.....I can go on and
on. The research is easy to find. It is happening all over America where
there is legislature to ban the use of mercury in dental fillings. The
rest of the world stopped using it, what is taking our modern country so
long? Most highly educated have resorted to composites and the use of
"alternative dentists."
You will find it quite simple to find a mercury free dentist in your
area. Just look up dentists in a search and then search "mercury free."
There are many links that will get you there. Get a consult from 2 or 3
and take the plunge. Tell them you can not afford to remove your metal,
and that you want to be conservative. This way they will only take out
the worst of what is in your mouth.
I have had a mouthful of work done on my. My experience tells me that if
you are diligent and very healty and live a stress free life, you may be
able to stop further decay on your existing cavities, but it is very
difficult and you may make them get worse by not fixing a small cavity
now.

I have a chipped tooth that is causing some pulsing pain from time
to time. I am wanting to take supplements and eat certain foods to
make it right but I am afraid that wont work. I dont mind having it
fixed except I cant find a dentist locally that wont fix the tooth
without using flouride. I have too much flouride in my teeth already
and have the spots and staining to prove it. Plus I want a doc that
will take the mercury filling out of my mouth that takes proper
measures to protect my health. I have 9 fillings with mercury and
most are quite large.
I also have another cavity started that the x-rays did not catch a
few months ago. I want it to fix it with supplements and I believe
that might be possible to fix. I cant really tell how big it is yet
as it is in a spot where I cant see the whole thing.
I live in NE Mississippi. I am willing to travel some but I cant
travel a huge distance easily. Can anyone help me?
