Hi everyone, ever since I was in my teens, my dentist warned me about
brushing too hard and that it can cause receeding gumlines. At age
35, and after having not seen a dentist in years, my gumline is so
receeded on my upper front teech and lower front teeth to the point I
am so worried that I will lose my teeth. I scheduled an appointment
next Thursday and would love some encouragement. I have been an
overzealous brusher for years, and also a flosser, so I can only hope
that I was able to stave off any bone loss. For those with severely
receeded gums, is there hope? Have you regrafted tissue and are you
happy with the results? Any insights would be appreciated.
