He told me that it would be very uncomfortable and that most people do find it pretty painful. So, he usually uses Lidocaine (sp) injections, but was leery to use that with me at this time. My Mom had a deep cleaning that she said was unbearable. She had it with the pain meds too and said it was better, still very uncomfortable. I'm glad that your husband had no problems.
