One thing about pain.......You may be one of those people who have high pain
tolerance!!!! and you don't even know it.
I am 38........and have put off dental work for years. My teeny cavities
became big ugly black monster size cavities that cost me $400 - $700 and
more per tooth to fix. Think of the needle as your friend coming to help
you.
Pnone the dentist and ask the receptionist to ask the dentist what he puts
on the gum before the needle goes there. Usually the denstist puts some
numbing goo on the gum, or has this rod that pokes a quicky thump like shot
on the spot where the needle goes in to numb it. 99% of the times i don't
feel the needle go in. The trick to no pain is to let the liquid flow slowly
through the injector. When people feel pain, it is usually the liquid going
through the gum flesh too fast.
