* This is a wonderful exchange. From it some reflections
are coming.

G: glad to hear this as it isn't making any headway on the Reiki list
.....

* It is sad to see that Reiki is not understood, just
because the one who tought it, didnīt understand it,
or because it is not so easy to understand that, as
with any other spiritual path, this one may lead to
realize the truth of existence. It is taken short, not
with the deep possibilities that it offers for one to
surrender to Reiki, letīs say, to Consciousness or
God, that Power which enables existence to be manifest
and apparently individualized.

G: yes..... it can go so much deeper than most Reiki practitioners
know.....
Unfortuately am finding the Reiki community to be Elitist in thinking that
what
they are getting is the highest and best ..... and yet so much is being
missed
out on ......

* Many people take the Reiki courses as a means to
experience life in a different form, or because they
have some inclinations towards healing themselves or
others. From my point of view, this is fine. But it is
sad to observe that with a better teaching, they could
practice it as a means to liberation. I am not sure
every Reiki teacher or practitioner knows that this is
a possible path towards liberation, enlightenment,
radical understanding and perfect peace as well as to
love and compassion in motion.

G: the sad thing is they don't ..... their belief is that just learning
to channel
energy by means of symbols constitutes the fullness ....


* Reiki, as a path of active surrenderness and service,
and mostly if accompanied by inner self enquiry, is as
complete and good as any other path.

G: yes this is it ---- with Meditation and ongoing guidance it can lead
to a complete
path ......

* I really hope that more teachers understand this so
that they invite their students to do the neccesary
search for an enlightened Master who can help put the
intentions in the right direction by a proper
explanation and guidance.

G: their belief is that Reiki Masters are high enough ----- after all
they are Masters ....
the Reiki comunity doesn't have ears to hear anything that doesn't come
from within that comunity . ( if you don't have Reiki certification you must
not know anything ) .... there has been a Reiki Master who came for
Diksha ..... Although they saw an immediate progression within themself
the Knowledge that to sit with an Enlightenened Master would further their
journey and abilities wasn't shared with their students ....... the
Reiki Masters want to be the large fish in the small pond rather than being
open to sharing the Best that may be shared with those they have given
attunements to ...... So i am still attempting to break through and into
that community ....
